Dark Waters: Gino and the Witch of the Black Swamp is a horror-themed visual novel in which the player spends three (?) nights in the company of the swamp witch, Cuca Rivers. Things start uneventfully for you but eventually take a strange turn, and the proof of the supernatural you've sought out your entire life may come at a steep price.
The game is roughly 1-2 hours long (depending on reading speed) and contains three NSFW scenes, as well as two different endings.

You are Gino Castallo, a young man tortured by his own mundane existence. Your off hours are occupied reading books about urban legends and going on expeditions to the sites of alleged hauntings. There has to be more to life than... this, right?
However, you always seem to end up empty-handed, and today is no different. But this time you stumble upon a swamp during the long trek home from yet another pointless journey. A woman who claims to be some kind of benevolent witch offers to show you her magic.

Hi, I bought the bundle that includes this game but when I tried to get the Steam key it said that there aren't Steam keys available right now. Is this a known issue and is it being fixed? Thanks.

The good/better ending was fairly disappointing and anticlimactic, I was genuinely saddened to find out that you didn't even have any scenes or CGs for it
(and was even more saddened to go back to the moment of choice and find out you DID have a scene for the "first" ending, which is fairly telling about your priorities).(Edited, in hindsight this is still a good story and worth the purchase.)
We're sorry this wasn't your cup of tea. We've done our best with our limited budget, and so some areas of the game are slimmer than others. Thanks for playing, nonetheless.
That is more than fair, my apologies for being snobbish. I recognise that the reason I was upset was precisely because the story did resonate with me, and it hit all the right notes as a tragedy and for that reason I don't regret the purchase, so thank you for that.
To leave a small review its a nice little game with good art and some well written story to bridge that art. Characters are fun to learn about whether it be the witch or the main character. Just a really solid little porn game.
Regarding the non-steam version, how do we go about getting that? I am trying to install my copy through ITCH, but am having no such luck. It cannot even find the file.
It's a very nice game, rare occasion where I came for the lewder stuff but actually stuck around for the story, it was really intriguing. The sound design is also very good, bar some of the noises during lewder stuff being a little jarring at times.
Also quick question, I got both endings, but there's no ending checkmark on Ending 1. I don't know if anything will happen if I get both, but I'm just curious if that's a bug or if I got something wrong. Don't really know who I'm asking this to per se, but if anyone knows what's up, that'd be nice, since I want to get as much out of this game as possible!
Thank you for your kind words! We put a lot of effort into the story, so it's a relief to hear people stuck around for it. Lewd SFX were a bit strange to implement, and we were honestly torn on leaving them out or putting them in.
Unfortunately there is a bug in the engine that causes those checks to be mismatched. We're still trying to patch it out, but as we've said in our dev log we won't be using this engine again moving forward as it's very, very finnicky with details like that. If you've received both endings, that's all of the story Dark Waters has to offer.
