Bern's Breeding Sim Demo Launched!

For a while the prototype for BBS has definitely been rough around the edges. Initially, we were just going to do some minor bug fixes and release the updated version. However, the game's prototype has continued to be our most popular download, and so we wanted the next update to have more content and give the game the fresh coat of paint it deserves.

Updates to the prototype include:

• New cover art! Huge thanks to Karrobyte for drawing it for us. Also huge thanks to Thus for doing the "Bern's Harpy Ever After Diary" booklet!

• A proper installer! No longer do you have to dig around for the game folder and manually find the EXE.

• Minigame fixes
  • Enemies don't get caught on obstacle objects
  • Adjusted overall difficulty of the minigame
  • Adjusted hitboxes so the player can shoot fireballs around corners
  • Added a new, slower enemy that can take more hits
  • Fine tuned the Charm boost Bern gets from playing the game.

• UI Changes
  • Added "Shopping" option
    • The player can take Bern shopping. There will be a variety of items here, but for now it just lets the player buy one (be sure to play to find out what it is!)
      
    Added "Menu/Gallery" option
    • The player can adjust the settings in-game
  • Updates to Bern's portraits/sprite
    • Bern just got even prettier!

• Added a "Working" function
  • The player can work from their office and earn MP to spend on items--but be warned, working too many days in a row may make Bern feel neglected
