Updates Regarding Our Release Schedule

Hello monster-enjoyers.  

As you've probably noticed, things have been a bit slow, lately. We're in the process of refining our strategy regarding our release schedule. We've been working hard to get "Garden of Roses" out, it's just turned out to be more expensive than we anticipated.  




We've been hinting at this before, and it probably isn't surprising, but we are planning to launch a Kick Starter. Unfortunately, there's a bunch of other small factors that are causing us to delay it. KS is not an easy get-rich quick scheme as some devs make it out to be, and we're trying to launch one at just the right time to maximize coverage and publicity. The advertising and promotion is the real appeal of KS, not the funding.
This doesn't mean any dramatic changes. We're continuing to work through GoR. On the other hand, production will be slowed slightly as we release some other, small IPs that we think you'll be happy with in the meantime. We hope that putting a few things out will help with the revenue problem. Those who've been following us for a while already know, but Outis Media is not just one solo artist managing a bunch of stuff on their own and using paid assets--we have a composer, artists, etc. to pay so you guys can get the quality you deserve. We hope to expand that in the future to go even bigger, but we aren't there just yet. All paid subscribers will get a key for each new IP we release in the meantime, as a sign of good faith for your patience.
The tl;dr for this is nothing dramatic--we're slowing the development cycle of "Garden of Roses" a bit to push out some smaller titles in the short term, which we hope will help our revenue situation, and make the Kick Starter less of a risky move. You will continue to see GoR updates. We have 2 titles in particular that we're getting ready to start promoting. It means a bit more waiting, but ultimately more content for anyone following.
Speaking of content, we have a sale going at the moment over on Itch with some other monster devs. Consider giving that a peek in the meantime. As we've said before, every little bit helps, and there are some of devs involved who are working just a hard to release good content. We'll be in touch again, soon, monster-lovers.
